Our Story
UTRIP was born in New Zealand, inspired by real travelers who felt overwhelmed by too many choices and fragmented information. Traditional booking sites listed thousands of options but rarely answered a simple question: "What is the trip that really fits me?"
UTRIP was created to solve that problem by combining intelligent recommendation technology with real local expertise. Instead of just selling products, we focus on designing journeys—matching destinations, activities, and timing to each traveler's style, budget, and pace.
We use data, smart algorithms, and user feedback to continuously improve trip planning. The platform is designed to integrate itinerary planning, product booking, membership, rewards, and partner collaboration into one seamless experience.
Behind UTRIP is a small but dedicated team of travel lovers, product designers, and engineers based in New Zealand and working with partners around the world. We combine on-the-ground travel knowledge with technical expertise in data, UX, and system design. Many of us have lived, studied, or worked abroad, and we build UTRIP from a traveler's perspective first.
